Dear subscribers and followers…
As of June 29, I will no longer be writing here, but this isn’t goodbye.
Well, I’ve officially bitten the bullet.
Like so many of the writers I used to follow on Medium, I’ve decided the few cents a month I’m making here isn’t worth the effort. I’ve cancelled my membership before it renews on June 29. This will be the last article I publish. Next month, I will start deleting articles.
First, I want to thank the 2,300+ of you who have chosen to follow me over the past five years. We’ve had some great conversations in the comments section.
And to those who became email subscribers, I greatly appreciate that you trusted my writing enough to invite my work into your inbox. It has been the boost of confidence that I needed when I first started publishing online.
That said, although there are many good writers on Medium, there is another platform that I’ve come to realize is in a completely different calibre of writing for several reasons:
- It empowers writers to fully own their work.
- It prioritizes quality content over the pressure of quantity.
- Earning income becomes more rewarding and flexible for writers.
- Direct communication fosters stronger…
